This social security scheme provides a monthly pension to women/girls residing in Haryana who have suffered body disfigurement or disability due to an acid attack happening on or after May 2, 2011.

Benefits

Assistance is a multiple of the “Divyang Pension” based on disability percentage:

• 40% to 50% Disability: 2.5 times the monthly Pension.
• 51% to 60% Disability: 3.5 times the monthly Pension.
• Over 61% Disability: 4.5 times the monthly Pension.

Eligibility

• Resident of Haryana for at least 3 years since the attack.
• Victim of acid or similar corrosive substance attack.
• Exclusion: Self-inflicted injuries are not covered.
• Applications can be made by parents/guardians for minors or those unable to apply themselves.

Application Process

Offline: Visit the DSWO office to request the application form. Submit the filled form with mandatory documents and obtain a receipt.

Documents Required

Medical certificate from District Medical Board, Copy of FIR/Complaint, Copy of applications/benefits received from Women & Child Development Department.
