The scheme “Financial Assistance to Troupes Going to Mumbai/Poona and Other Parts of the Country & Vice Versa” by the Tiatr Academy of Goa (TAG) aims to compensate transportation costs for staging Tiatrs outside Goa. Support is provided for a minimum of five shows in Mumbai/Poona or one show in other major cities.

Benefits

Financial support for transportation expenses as fixed by TAG. Payment is released based on performance reports and verification.

Conditions

• Compulsory announcement: ‘This Tiatr is organized in collaboration with Tiatr Academy of Goa (TAG)’.
• No adverse remarks against governments or religions in scripts or speeches.
• Specific requirements for Mandd Sobhann, Mangalore performances.

Eligibility

• Writer or director of the Tiatr staging it in traditional format (6-7 acts).
• Must include specific musical components (4 cantos, 10 Kantaram with duets, duos, etc.).
• Minimum 5 shows for Mumbai/Poona; 1 show for other cities (Kolkata, Delhi, etc.).
• Can avail scheme twice per financial year for different Tiatrs.

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: Obtain application form from Tiatr Academy office.
Step 2: Fill and attach self-attested documents.
Step 3: Submit to TAG office, Panaji, at least one month in advance.

Documents Required

Application Stage: Typed script and lyrics, Hall booking proofs, Aadhaar and PAN cards, Letter from organizers (for Parishes).
Disbursal Stage: Hall booking receipts, 5 performance photographs, Certificate of Performance (for Mandd Sobhann).
