Overview

The “Financial Assistance to Meritorious Scheduled Tribe Students Who Have Passed in First Division from Board and University” scheme was launched by the Higher Education Department, Government of Rajasthan. It motivates meritorious Scheduled Tribe students pursuing regular college courses to achieve first division. Implemented by the Commissionerate of College Education from financial year 2023–24.

Benefits

A one-time financial incentive of up to ₹3,500/- provided to students, at the rate of ₹350/- per month for a maximum of ten months. Transferred via DBT to Jan Aadhaar linked account.

Eligibility

• Applicant should be a student from Scheduled Tribe category.
• Passed 12th standard (RBSE/CBSE) with first division (60% or more).
• To stay eligible: 48% or more in first year for second year incentive; 48% or more in second year for third year incentive.
• Parents/guardian/husband should not be income tax payers.
• Native of Rajasthan. No gap in studies.
• Regular student in general education in a government college.
• Students in government hostels are not eligible.
• Must possess Jan Aadhaar Card and Aadhaar Card.
