Launched on 1st April 2006, the “Financial Assistance To Kashmiri Migrants Families Scheme” by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Haryana, provides resettlement assistance to Kashmiri families who have migrated to Haryana and are living in various parts of the state.

Benefits

Financial Assistance of ₹1,250/- per month per family member for 5 years, subject to a maximum of ₹6,250/- per family per month.

Eligibility

  • The family should have been displaced from and migrated to Haryana from Jammu & Kashmir.
  • The family must be residing in Haryana.
  • Annual income of the family from all sources should not exceed ₹2,00,000/-.
  • ‘Family’ refers to the family at the time of displacement.

Exclusion

Sub-division of the family after displacement will not be recognized for additional financial assistance.

Application Process

Offline/Online:

Step 01: Visit the District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) to collect a hard copy of the application or download it online.
Step 02: Fill mandatory fields and attach self-attested documents.
Step 03: Submit the application to the DSWO.
Step 04: Obtain an acknowledgment receipt with a submission date and unique ID.

Documents Required

  • Certificate of the Migrated State (Sub Divisional Official).
  • Ration Card, Voter ID, and Aadhaar Card.
  • Family ID (PPP).
  • Income Certificate.
  • Passport-size Photographs.
  • Bank Passbook photocopy.
