Eligibility

  • Applicant should be a traditional fisherman by birth or profession and a resident of Goa.
  • Applicant or household should not be a defaulter with the Directorate of Fisheries.
  • Must possess their own registered fishing canoe.
  • Gill net must be registered with the Directorate.
  • Applicant shall not sell or transfer the net for five years.

Application Process

Offline:

Step 1: Obtain the application form format.

Step 2: Fill the form, paste a passport-sized photograph, and attach self-attested mandatory documents.

Step 3: Submit the form to the Department of Fisheries, Patto Colony, Panaji, or to officials at BDO/Sub-Offices.

  • Fishing Vessel License and Fishing Net License Certificate.
  • Copy of Updated Fishing Netbook.
  • Original GST Bill from Authorized Dealer.
  • Caste Certificate (ST/SC) if applicable.
  • Aadhar Card, Election Card, and Bank Passbook (Aadhaar linked).
  • Inspection Report with photographs of Canoe and Net.
