The scheme “Financial Assistance to Blind Ex-servicemen” is implemented by the Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department, Government of Haryana. Under the scheme, financial assistance of ₹3,000/‐ per month shall be granted to those Permanent Blind Ex-servicemen who are bonafide resident of the Haryana State.

Benefits

Financial assistance of ₹3,000/- per month with an annual increase of ₹400/- every year in November (w.e.f. 01.11.2017).

Eligibility

  • Bona fide resident of Haryana.
  • 100% permanently blind ex-serviceman.
  • Not receiving any other pension from State or Central Government.

Application Process

  • Step 1: Apply online via Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.
  • Step 2: Register as a New User.
  • Step 3: Login and search for the scheme.
  • Step 4: Enter Family ID (PPP) and verify via OTP.
  • Step 5: Attach signed forms and upload documents.

Documents Required

  • Ex-servicemen Identity Card, Family ID, Aadhaar Card
  • Original Discharge Book
  • Blind Certificate (100% disability)
  • Revenue Report (Tehsildar), Bank Passbook
  • NOC from District Social Welfare Dept
  • Affidavit for particulars
