The “Financial Assistance (Kanyadaan) on the Occasion of Marriage of Daughter” scheme is implemented by the Haryana Labour Welfare Board. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹51,000/- is provided to workers suffering from silicosis (as confirmed by the Silicosis Diagnosis Board) for the marriage of up to three daughters.

Eligibility

• The applicant/worker should be employed in a factory or at a construction site.
• The worker must suffer from silicosis as confirmed by the Silicosis Diagnosis Board, Haryana.
• The worker should be registered with the Haryana Silicosis Board.
• The assistance is available for up to three daughters only.

Application Process

Registration under Haryana Silicosis Board:

• Step 01-03: Collect Annexure I from Labour Office or download it. Fill details and attach medical certificates/ID.
• Step 04-07: Submit to Assistant Director, Industrial Health for review and processing.

Apply for Scheme Benefits:

• Step 01-03: Collect Annexure VI. Attach medical certificates, ID, and widow/widower/nominee certificates if applicable.
• Step 04-07: Submit to Assistant Director, Industrial Health for approval and payment processing.

Documents Required

For Registration: Aadhaar Card, Photo, Medical Reports (X-Ray, CT Scan), ESI Card, Work experience, Domicile, Bank details.

For Benefits: Worker ID, Aadhaar & Voter ID, Attested Marriage invitation card, Daughter’s birth proof, Bank Passbook, Worker’s death certificate (if applicable).
