The scheme “Financial Assistance for Professional/Technical Courses” is implemented by the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HBOCWWB). The Board bears full educational expenses including admission, tuition, and examination fees for children of registered workers.

Benefits

1 Degree/Diploma (Medicine, Engineering, Management,MCA, Law, etc.) Full expenses for Govt institutions. Private institutions reimbursed at the rate of the highest state govt fee structure for that stream.

Note: Assistance is paid directly to the institute; admission expenses are reimbursed to the candidate upon receipt submission.

Eligibility

  • Registered with HBOCWWB for at least one year with active membership.
  • Children pursuing regular technical/professional courses.
  • Available for up to three children per worker.

Exclusion

Failing students and self-employed/employed students are not eligible.

Application Process

Online:

Register as a worker on the Labour Department website. After registration and work approval, login to “HBOCW Board Beneficiary Login”, select the scheme, and fill the application form.

Documents Required

  • ID proof of Worker and Student.
  • Receipt of Admission Fee and Payment of Fees.
  • Continuing Study Certificate from Head of Institution.
  • Verification Certificate (for private institutes).
  • Undertaking, Family ID, and Bank details.
