The “Financial Assistance for Coaching” scheme by the Haryana Labour Welfare Board (HLWB) aims to help children of poor industrial workers brighten their futures by providing financial aid for entrance examinations to professional courses and civil services.

Benefits

  • Entrance Exams: ₹20,000/- or 75% of the coaching fee (whichever is less).
  • Civil Services: ₹1,00,000/- for preparing for UPSC/HPSC Main Examination after passing Preliminary exams.

Eligibility

  • Worker must be employed in an industrial/commercial establishment and registered with HLWB.
  • Monthly salary must not exceed ₹25,000/-.
  • Minimum one year of service required.
  • Child must have scored at least 60% in the qualifying examination.
  • Benefit available for up to three girls and two boys per worker.
  • Child must not be self-employed or employed.

Coaching Institute Conditions

  • Must be providing coaching for at least three years to a minimum of 300 students.
  • Must be paying GST and registered under the Shop & Commercial Establishment Act, 1958.

Application Process

Registration:

Register via the Welfare Board Beneficiary Login on the Labour Department Haryana website using PPP ID and Aadhaar.

Applying for Benefits:

Login to the Beneficiary portal or the Antyodaya-SARAL portal, search for the scheme, verify via OTP and PPP, and submit the form with documents.

Documents Required

  • Worker ID and Employer Certificate.
  • Salary Slip (Previous Month).
  • Education Certificate (showing 60%+ marks).
  • Coaching fee receipt and certificate of continuing studies from the institute.
  • Self-undertaking, Ration Card, Family ID, and ESI Card.
