The “Education Assistance/Ph.D Scheme” provides financial support for the higher education of children of registered construction workers in Gujarat.

Benefits

Annual assistance per child (max two children):

• Class 1-5: ₹1,800/- | Class 6-8: ₹2,400/- | Class 9-10: ₹8,000/- | Class 11-12: ₹10,000/-
• Graduate level (BA/BCom/LLB etc.): ₹10,000/-
• PG level (MA/MCom etc.): ₹15,000/- | MBA/MCA: ₹25,000/-
• Medical/Dental: ₹25,000 to ₹2,00,000 (or 100% of fee)
• Hostel aid: ₹1,200/month (10 months)
• Book aid: ₹3,000 (Diploma), ₹5,000 (Engg/Nursing), ₹10,000 (Medical)

Eligibility

• Children of workers registered with GBOCWWB.
• Max age 30 (no limit if disabled).
• Valid for the first trial in the academic year.
• External/Open University students are not eligible.

Online via e-Nirman (https://enirmanbocw.gujarat.gov.in/) for E-Nirman Card, and Sanman Portal (https://sanman.gujarat.gov.in/) for scheme benefits.
