The “Dr. A.N. Mukhopadhyay Needy Student Fund (B.Sc. Agriculture – Final Year Student)” scheme is implemented by Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to needy students pursuing the B.Sc. Agriculture course in their final year of study, based on their genuine financial need, thereby helping to reduce their economic burden and support the continuation of their education.

Benefits

Amount of Assistance: ₹25,000/- per year.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a student in need of financial support to continue their education.
• The applicant must be enrolled in the final year of the B.Sc. Agriculture course at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar.
• The financial assistance is awarded for a duration of one year only.

Application Process

Offline

Students are first invited to submit their applications on the prescribed form. A committee, constituted by the Vice Chancellor, then reviews and evaluates these applications following a defined procedure. Based on the committee’s recommendations, the Vice Chancellor grants approval, after which the selected students receive the payments.
