The “Dr. A.N. Mukhopadhyay Gold Medal Award (B.Sc. Agriculture – Final Year Student)” scheme is implemented by Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to encourage meritorious students pursuing a B.Sc. Agriculture course in their final year of study, thereby recognizing their academic excellence and providing financial support to reduce their burden.

Award Amount: ₹25,000/- per year per student.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a student.
• The applicant must be enrolled in the final year of the B.Sc. Agriculture course at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar.
• The award is granted for a duration of one year only.

Application Process

Offline

Students are first invited to submit their applications on the prescribed form. A committee, constituted by the Vice Chancellor, then reviews and evaluates these applications following a defined procedure. Based on the committee’s recommendations, the Vice Chancellor grants approval, after which the selected students receive the payments.
