The scheme “Distribution of Vegetable Seeds Minikit & Fruits Minikit at Free of Cost” was launched by the Department of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare, Puducherry for the establishment of nutritional gardens.

• Distribution takes place during Aadipattam / Thaipattam seasons through Farmers’ Help Centres.

Eligibility

• All horticulture growers of rural & urban areas are eligible.

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: Visit the Uzhavar Udhaviyagam or the Office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture (Horticulture) for the application form.

Step 2: Fill in fields, paste your photograph, and attach documents.

Step 3: Submit the application to the concerned Agricultural Officer.

Step 4: Receive a unique acknowledgement number.

Documents Required

• Copy of Farmer Identity Card.
• Alternative: Land document (sale deed/gift deed/etc.) if identity card is not available.
• For tenants: Consent letter from relevant authorities (Trusts/Wakfs) and cultivation certificate.
