Launched in 1981, this scheme aims to distribute free house sites to homeless poor Scheduled Caste and other Economically Backward Class people in the Union Territory of Puducherry to enable them to construct their own houses.

Eligibility

• Citizen of India and native/permanent resident of Puducherry UT.
• Annual family income not exceeding ₹24,000.
• Age: 18 years or above.
• Must be a homeless person (no family member owns a house or house site).
• Must have a bonafide intention to construct a house within 2 years.

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: Visit the Office of the Adi Dravidar Welfare Department, Thattanchavady, Puducherry-9 to request the application form.

Step 2: Fill in mandatory fields, paste signed photograph, and attach self-attested documents.

Step 3: Submit the application to the Director, Adi Dravidar Welfare Department.

Step 4: Request an acknowledgment receipt with the date and unique ID.

• Certification from Revenue Dept regarding non-ownership of a house.
