The “Disablement Benefit” is a Welfare Scheme by the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. It provides financial assistance of ₹75,000/- to registered workers based on a Disablement Certificate from a competent authority.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be a citizen of India and a registered Construction Worker with the Board.
• Must be a ‘Person with Disability (PwD)’.
• Age: between 18 and 60 years.
• Must be a regular contributor to the Board’s Fund (not defaulted for more than one year).

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: Visit the Office of the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry to obtain the application form.

Step 2: Fill in the form and attach self-attested documents and photograph.

Step 3: Submit the application to the concerned authority.

Step 4: Collect the receipt/acknowledgement with a unique ID.
