The scheme “COP-37 (General Area) 50% Capital Subsidy Scheme for Project of Taluka & District Co-op. Purchase Sale Union” by the Department of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation, Government of Gujarat, aims to strengthen the financial base of cooperative buying and selling unions in talukas and districts by providing 50% capital assistance with a maximum limit of ₹20,00,000/- for a wide range of agricultural projects. These projects include procurement of inputs like fertilizers and seeds, as well as infrastructure and service improvements such as processing, grading, cleaning, washing, shorting, packaging, branding, storage, and marketing of agricultural produce.

Eligibility
- Taluka or District Cooperative Purchase and Sale Associations are eligible under this scheme.
- Taluka and District Purchase and Sale Associations should have their own land.
Application Process
Offline
- Step 1: The Taluka or District Cooperative Purchase and Sale Union must prepare a proposal for the intended project.
- Step 2: The proposal is to be submitted to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar, through the Deputy Director and District Registrar Co-operative Societies of the respective district.
- Step 3: Upon approval, the subsidy amount will be disbursed to the union via the District Registrar’s office.
- Step 4: The assistance will be released in installments based on the level of work completed as per verified reports.
