The scheme “Coaching Assistance Scheme for Preparation of Recruitment Exams for Scheduled Caste Students” was launched by the Director Scheduled Caste Welfare, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of Gujarat. Financial assistance is provided to SC students preparing for State and Central Government Recruitment Examinations (Class– 1, 2 & 3).

Benefits

Under this scheme, ₹20,000/- or the actual fee to be paid, whichever is less, is credited via DBT.

Eligibility

For Students:

  • Must belong to Scheduled Castes Category.
  • Must have passed graduation with 50% or more marks.
  • Age limit: Max 35 years for males, 40 years for females.
  • Applicant/parents must not be in government employment.
  • Benefit available only once.

For Institutions:

  • More than 3 years of experience and GST/PAN card.
  • Biometric attendance systems.
  • Faculty must have at least graduation and general knowledge.

  • Step 01: Visit e-Samaj Kalyan Portal and register as a New User.
  • Step 02: Login and update ‘User Profile’.
  • Step 03: Select the scheme and fill the application form.
  • Step 04: Upload documents and click ‘Save Application’.
  • Step 05: Submit and take a printout.

Documents Required

  • Passport-size Photograph and Aadhaar Card.
  • Caste Certificate and Graduation Marksheet.
  • Proof of Residence.
  • Income certificate.
  • Copy of Bank Passbook/Cancelled Check.
  • Photograph showing board of the institution.
  • Certificate/letter from the study institution.
