The “Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship Scheme” was launched by the Higher Education Department, Government of Rajasthan. This scheme aims to enhance educational levels and provide assistance to children from low-income families. The scholarship is provided to the first one lakh students whose annual family income is up to ₹2,50,000/- and who are not receiving any other scholarship.

Benefits

• General students: ₹500/- per month for max 10 months (Total ₹5,000/- annually).
• Disabled students (40%+): ₹1,000/- per month for max 10 months (Total ₹10,000/- annually).

Note: Benefits are available for a maximum of 5 years for regular students.

Eligibility

• Native of Rajasthan and a regular student in a recognized technical/higher institute in Rajasthan.
• Passed 12th from Rajasthan Board (RBSE) in current year with min 60% and top 1 lakh merit.
• Disabled students should have 40% or more disability.
• Family annual income not exceeding ₹2,50,000/-.
• Should not be receiving benefits from any other scholarship scheme.
• Must have a savings account in a nationalized bank, Aadhaar Card, and Jan Aadhaar Card.

Registration: Visit https://hte.rajasthan.gov.in/, click Register, use Jan Aadhaar for SSO ID creation.
Apply: Login to SSO ID, update profile, select scholarship scheme, fill details, and upload documents. Submit form.

Notes: No fee to apply. SSO ID and scholarship profile are created only once. Nodal officer verifies documents after institution verification.
