The “Basic Rock Climbing Training for Tribal and Scheduled Caste Youth” scheme was launched by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to promote adventure, enhance physical fitness, and tap into the latent potential of youth from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). Under this scheme, a basic rock climbing training program has been organized for 100 youth since 2010-2011, with the aim of improving physical capacity, fostering an adventurous spirit, and bringing out the latent potential in youth belongs to scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribe.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
• The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category.
• The applicant must be between 18 and 35 years of age.

Application Process

Offline

• Step 1: The interested applicant should visit the office of the District Youth Development Officer and collect the application form.
• Step 2: Attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required) along with the application.
• Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application along with the documents to the office of the District Youth Development Officer.
