Launched in 2009, this scheme rewards backward class students who secure highest marks at the district level. Awards are usually distributed on Independence Day or Republic Day.

Benefits

  • Class 10th Board Exam: ₹5,000/- per student
  • Class 12th Board Exam: ₹10,000/- per student

Eligibility

  • Resident of Madhya Pradesh from the Backward Class category.
  • Student in a recognized school in MP.
  • Top scorer (one male, one female) at the district level for Class 10 or 12.

Application Process (Offline)

  • Step 1: Visit Assistant Director, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare.
  • Step 2: Fill the prescribed application form.
  • Step 3: Attach self-attested documents and submit.
  • Step 4: Obtain an acknowledgement receipt.

  • Aadhaar Card and Passport-size Photo
  • Domicile and Caste Certificate
  • Samagra ID and Bank Passbook
  • Class 10th/12th Board Mark Sheet
