This scheme aims to ensure that severely hearing and visually impaired students can obtain high-quality technical education without economic barriers.

Benefits

  • Housing/Food assistance: ₹4,000/- per month (if studying outside home residence and no hostel provided).
  • Food/Expense assistance: ₹2,000/- per month (if staying in an ITI hostel).
  • Assistance provided for the full academic duration (1 or 2 years).
  • Disbursed monthly via RTGS to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
  • Payable once in a lifetime.

Eligibility

  • 100% visually or hearing-impaired student.
  • Admitted to an ITI (Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain, Rewa, Jabalpur, Sagar, or Gwalior).
  • Not receiving assistance from other government departments.
  • Guardian must not reside in the same location/division.

Application Process (Offline)

  • Step 1: Submit prescribed form and documents to the Principal of the ITI.
  • Step 2: Principal verifies admission, conduct, and hostel status.
  • Step 3: Principal grants sanction and requests funds from the District Joint Director.
  • Step 4: Funds released to Principal in six-month installments.
  • Step 5: Monthly disbursement to student based on attendance.

Documents Required

  • Latest Photograph and Aadhaar-linked Bank Details.
  • Residence Certificate and Samagra ID.
  • Disability Certificate (100% impairment proof).
  • Admission proof and Previous year mark sheet.
  • Annual Income Certificate.
  • Affidavit and Landlord’s Consent Letter (for rental cases).
