This scheme promotes the cultivation of medicinal plants by providing grants for area expansion of suitable aromatic crops.

Selected Crops and Subsidies

• Amla: ₹13,000/- subsidy (on ₹65,000/- cost per hectare)
• Ashvagandha: ₹5,000/- subsidy (on ₹25,000/- cost)
• Bel: ₹20,000/- subsidy (on ₹40,000/- cost)
• Saphed Moosalee: ₹62,500/- subsidy (on ₹3,12,500/- cost)
• Tulasi: ₹6,000/- subsidy (on ₹30,000/- cost)
• Other crops include: Koliyas, Gudamaar, Kaalamegh, Sarpagandha, Sataavar.

Eligibility

• Applicable to all sections of farmers.
• Forest rights certificate holders are eligible.
• Grant payable only once per farmer.
• Minimum area: 0.25 hectare; Maximum area: 2.00 hectare.
