This component of the fisheries scheme provides monetary assistance for rearing fish seed in reservoirs to individual SC fishermen, societies, and SHGs in Gujarat.

Benefits

  • Spawn to Fry: ₹90/- per 1,000 nos. (30% recovery required; 3,00,000 spawn allocated; 30 days).
  • Fry to Fingerlings: ₹260/- per 1,000 nos. (35% recovery required; 2,00,000 fry allocated; 60 days).
  • Spawn to Fingerling: ₹460/- per 1,000 nos. (12% recovery required; 5,00,000 spawn allocated; 90 days).

Frequency: Benefit can be reclaimed after a minimum of 1 year.

Eligibility

  • Scheduled Caste (SC) community member, 18+ years old.
  • Involved in inland fisheries activities.
  • Must have personal bank account and ID proof.
