The “Assistance Scheme for Occupational Diseases” is implemented by the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board (GBOCWWB), Labour, Skill Development & Employment Department, Government of Gujarat. Under the scheme, financial assistance is given to registered construction workers for 15 types of occupational diseases and 23 types of serious injuries.

Benefits

• Free medical treatment and monthly assistance of ₹1500/- for less than 90% disability.
• Free medical treatment and monthly assistance of ₹3000/- for 90 to 100% disability.
• The above assistance shall be provided up to a maximum limit of ₹3,00,000/-.
• Covers 15 types of occupational diseases and 23 types of serious injuries.

Terms and Conditions: Construction workers registered with the Board shall be treated free of cost in hospitals approved by the State Government.

• Construction workers registered with GBOCWWB.
• Registered workers with disability due to occupational disease or serious injury.

Process for E-Nirman Card:
Step 01-08: Register on e-Nirman portal, update profile, fill construction works form, upload documents, and generate application number.

Process for Scheme Benefit:
Step 01-08: Register on Sanman Portal (https://sanman.gujarat.gov.in/), login with Aadhaar and E-Nirman details, select the scheme, fill application and submit.

Documents Required

For E-Nirman Card: Photo, Aadhaar, Ration Card, Caste Certificate, Proof of Age, Self-declaration, Employer Certificate, Bank Passbook.

For Scheme Benefit: e-Nirman Card, Photo, Hospital discharge certificate, Bank passbook, Ration card, Life Certificate (every six months), Disability certificate signed by a surgeon.
