The scheme “Assistance in Packing Materials under Post Harvest Management of Horticultural Produce” introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Gujarat, aims to support farmers by providing financial aid for packing materials used in post-harvest stages to maintain quality and reduce losses.

Benefits

• Unit Cost: ₹10,000/ha.
• 75% of the cost or ₹7,500/hectare, whichever is less.

Note: Corrugated boxes and wooden boxes are used as packing material. Assistance is available up to 1 hectare per account, once per year via the i-Khedut portal.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a farmer and resident of Gujarat.
• Must be engaged in horticultural cultivation.
