The scheme “Assistance for Tools, Equipment, Shorting/Grading Equipment, PHM Equipment for General Category (HRT-2)” is implemented by the Directorate of Horticulture, Gujarat. It provides assistance to individual farmers and cooperative societies for post-harvest management (PHM) infrastructure and tools.

Benefits

• Individual General Category Farmers: Assistance up to 75% of cost or ₹3,750/-, whichever is less.
• Farmer Groups/Cooperative Societies: 90% of cost or up to ₹7,50,000/- for PHM Equipment.

Note: Equipment must be purchased from authorized dealers of empanelled manufacturers.

Eligibility

• Permanent resident of Gujarat in the General Category.
• Individual farmers or farmer groups/Cooperative Societies are eligible.

Step 01-09: Apply via I-Khedut Portal under ‘Horticulture Schemes’. Follow HRT-2 instructions. Upload signed application print and documents (PDF < 200 KB) or submit hard copy to the office address on the application.

• Land details (7/12 and 8-A).
• Bank passbook/cancelled cheque.
• Disability Certificate (if applicable).
• Forest rights Letter (if applicable).
