The “Assistance for Purchase of Educational Instruments for Medical, Engineering and Technical Diploma Courses” scheme was launched by the Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to Scheduled Tribe (ST) students to purchase necessary educational instruments to pursue higher education.

Benefits

• Medical Students: ₹15,000 annually.
• Engineering Students: ₹10,000 annually.
• Diploma Students: ₹5,000 annually.

Eligibility

• Resident of Gujarat and belong to Scheduled Tribe (ST).
• Passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.
• Enrolled in a recognized medical, engineering, or technical diploma course.
• Family income not exceeding ₹6,00,000/- per year.
