The scheme “Assistance for Exhibitions Abroad and Out of State” by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat aims to encourage and promote artists originally from Gujarat in the field of fine arts—such as painting, sculpture, graphic arts, and photography—by offering financial assistance to organize exhibitions abroad and outside the state. The scheme is implemented by the Gujarat State Fine Arts Academy.

Benefits

Financial Assistance: Up to ₹1,00,000/- for organizing exhibitions abroad.

  • Gallery rent and decoration: ₹15,000/-
  • Transportation of artworks: ₹10,000/-
  • Publication of catalogues/printed materials: ₹25,000/-
  • Framing, mounting, and display: ₹20,000/-
  • Inaugural ceremony and publicity: ₹15,000/-
  • Artist’s travel and misc: ₹15,000/-

Eligibility

  • Artist originally from Gujarat.
  • Individual artists or registered art organizations/groups.
  • Minimum of 30 original artworks must be exhibited.
  • Exhibition must be outside the state or outside the country.
  • Must involve visual art forms (painting, sculpture, mixed media, etc.).

Step 1: Download the application form.
Step 2: Provide mandatory details including career history and photographs of work.
Step 3: Submit signed form and documents to Gujarat State Fine Arts Academy in Ahmedabad.
Step 4: Obtain receipt. (Note: Advertisements are usually released in daily newspapers).
