The scheme “Assistance for Completely Damaged/Destroyed Houses” is implemented by the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority under the Department of Disaster Management, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to individuals whose residential houses have been completely or partially damaged due to natural disasters in Uttarakhand.

Benefits

• Pucca/Kutcha house (severely damaged/destroyed): ₹1,20,000/- (plain areas); ₹1,30,000/- (hilly areas).
• Pucca house (min 15% damage): ₹6,500/- per house.
• Kutcha house (min 15% damage): ₹4,000/- per house.
• Damaged/destroyed hut: ₹8,000/- per hut.
• Cattle shed attached to the house: ₹3,000/- per shed.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
• The applicant must be the owner of a disaster-affected house.

Application Process

Offline

• Information about damage is received from various sources.
• The concerned Patwari verifies damage via the P-20 form.
• The report is verified by the Tehsildar and SDM.
• Final approval is obtained from the District Magistrate before relief funds are disbursed at the Tehsil level.
