The scheme “Anganwadi Workers Welfare Fund” was launched by the Department of Women Empowerment and Child Development, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to Anganwadi workers/mini workers/assistants of the state upon attaining the superannuation age of 60 years.
Benefits
A minimum amount of ₹30,000/- will be provided.
Upon completing 20 years of service, ₹1,30,000/- will be provided.
Note: There is a provision for a 5% annual increase on the deposited amount.
Eligibility
The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
The applicant must be an Anganwadi woman worker/mini worker/assistant working on an honorarium basis.
The applicant must have completed 60 years of age.
Application Process
Offline
To receive the amount under the Anganwadi Workers Welfare Fund, Anganwadi workers/mini workers/assistants must apply at the concerned CDPO office.
A retirement certificate from the Anganwadi Centre, Aadhar card, and bank account details must be attached with the application.
