The Academic Scholarship Scheme is implemented under the Labour Welfare Board, Labour Department, Madhya Pradesh. Under this scheme, up to two children of workers employed in industrial institutions/establishments covered under the Board are eligible for scholarship benefits. The scholarship is provided to students from Class 5th to 12th and higher education, who have passed their previous class and are studying in Madhya Pradesh. Benefits are granted once a year, provided the applicant does not receive any other department scholarship.

  • Class 5th to 8th: ₹2,000/-
  • Class 9th & 10th: ₹4,450/-
  • Class 11th & 12th: ₹4,700/-
  • ITI (Certificate Course): ₹5,000/-
  • Polytechnic (Diploma Course): ₹5,000/-
  • General Graduate (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA): ₹7,700/-
  • Engineering (BE/B.Tech): ₹10,000/-
  • MBBS/BDS: ₹12,500/-
  • Pharmacy, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, Paramedical, Nursing: ₹9,000/-
  • Law Courses: ₹10,000/-
  • General PG Courses (MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MBA): ₹7,700/-
  • ME/M.Tech: ₹11,500/-
  • PGDM & Other Management Diplomas: ₹7,700/-

Eligibility

  • Child of a worker in an industrial establishment covered under the M.P. Labour Welfare Fund Act 1982.
  • Regular student in an educational institution in MP.
  • Passed the previous class.
  • Not receiving a scholarship from any other department.

Registration

  • Step 1: Visit Lok Seva Guarantee MP Portal and click “Citizen Registration”.
  • Step 2: Verify mobile number via OTP.
  • Step 3: Receive Registration Number via SMS/email.

Login and Apply

  • Step 1: Login to the portal.
  • Step 2: Select “Labour Department” and the scheme name.
  • Step 3: Fill form details and upload documents; click Submit.

Fee Structure: No board fee. Service center fees may apply if using a kiosk.

Appeal Process

  • First Appeal: Assistant Welfare Commissioner, M.P. Labour Welfare Board (Resolved within 30 days).
  • Second Appeal: Welfare Commissioner, M.P. Labour Welfare Board.
