The “Assistance for Patent Registration” component provides financial support for obtaining patent registration, covering application fees, attorney fees, and associated expenses.

Benefits

  • 75% of the cost incurred for patent applications (Max ₹25,00,000/- per applicant).
  • Domestic attorney fees capped at ₹50,000/-.
  • International attorney fees capped at ₹2,00,000/- per country.
  • Disbursement: 50% after publication, 50% after certificate issuance.

Eligibility

  • MSMEs or Individuals registered with Ministry of MSME/DPIIT.
  • Application must be submitted within one year from patent publication.
