The “EPF Reimbursement” component of the Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme offers financial support to eligible Mega Industrial Units by reimbursing the employer’s contribution to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) for new employees.

Benefits

• Reimbursement: 100% of employer’s statutory EPF contribution.
• Ceiling: 12% of basic salary + DA or ₹1800/- per month, whichever is lower.

Eligibility

• Manufacturing units with ₹2,500/- crore investment and 2,500 direct employees.
• Only new employees without a prior UAN are eligible.
• Reimbursement applies to incremental employee count post-expansion.

Exclusion

• Units already availing EPF reimbursement under other central/state schemes.
• Employees with prior UAN.
