The “A Scheme to Provide Free Tablets to Std.12th Pass Students” scheme was implemented by the Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat. Under this scheme, provide free tablets to ST students who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination and are admitted to the first year of a graduate-level course in a recognized university are reimbursed for the token amount of ₹1,000 deposited for receiving tablets from the Education Department.

Benefits

  • Under the scheme, students in the 12th standard belonging to the Scheduled Caste category will receive a tablet by paying a token fee of ₹1,000/-.

Eligibility

  • The applicant should be a resident of Gujarat.
  • The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
  • The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/Std. 12) examination.
  • The applicant should be admitted to the first year of a graduate-level course in a recognized university.

  • Step 1: Register on the Digital Gujarat Portal.
  • Step 2: Login and update ‘My Profile’.
  • Step 3: Select ‘Scholarship Services’ and then ‘SC Scheme’.
  • Step 4: Select the Financial Year and the specific scheme.
  • Step 5: Fill the form and upload scanned documents.
  • Step 6: Submit the application and note the reference number.

Instructions: Photo uploading is mandatory. Only one application per applicant. Unreadable documents will lead to rejection.
