This scheme aims to provide financial assistance for female calves born through Artificial Insemination (A.I.) in indigenous cow breeds to prevent the decline of local cattle breeds in Gujarat.

Benefits

Incentive: ₹3,000/- per Female Calf.
Limit: One person per family once a year for one female calf.

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be a livestock owner from Gujarat.
  • Female calf must be born through AI by pure breeding in indigenous cow.
  • Calf must be 11 months old or less at the time of application.

Application Process

Online: https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/

  • Step 1: Visit I-Khedut Portal and select ‘Animal Husbandry Schemes’.
  • Step 2: Apply for the scheme, fill details, and confirm.
  • Step 3: Print the application and submit along with documents to the Taluka office.
