The scheme provides financial assistance for machinery or working capital at low interest rates to registered artisans in urban and rural areas of Gujarat.

Benefits

• Credit Limit: Up to ₹1,00,000 for machinery or raw materials.
• Margin Money Subsidy: 20% for General (Male), 25% for Reserved categories, Women, and Disabled.
• Interest Subsidy: 7% rate for a maximum of three years.

Eligibility

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Must hold an Artisan Identity Card issued by Development Commissioner or Indext-C.
• Must be registered as an artisan in Gujarat.

Application Process

Offline

• Step 1: Print prescribed form from Commissioner of Cottage & Rural Industries website.
• Step 2: Submit application in two copies to District Industries Centre (DIC).
• Step 3: Loans disbursed via banks; subsidies credited via DBT post-disbursement.

Documents Required

• Two Passport Photos and Election/Aadhaar Card.
• Artisan ID Card or Provisional Certificate.
• Birth Certificate/LC.
• Quotation for equipment and proof of business location.
• Bank details (IFSC, Account No, TAN).
