The scheme “Assistance for Power Driven Chaff Cutter Scheme under Tribal Area Sub Plan” is implemented by the Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, Government of Gujarat. Under this scheme, financial assistance is given to dairy farmers belonging to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category on purchase of electric powered chaff cutters to reduce fodder wastage.

Benefits

Financial assistance up to 75% of the cost or ₹18,000/-, whichever is less. Benefits are deposited via DBT to the bank account.

Eligibility

• Permanent resident of Gujarat.
• Belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
• Own a minimum of five (5) animals.
