The scheme “Assistance for Cultivation of Medicinal/ Aromatic Crops” introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Gujarat, aims to encourage the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants to promote alternative agriculture and improve farmers’ income.

Benefits

Financial assistance up to 75% of the cost or ₹11,250/- per hectare, whichever is lower.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a farmer.
• The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
• Applicant must possess cultivable land ranging from 0.20 hectares to 4 hectares.
