Specific Surgeries Covered

  • Visual: Intraocular lens implant, Corneoplasty.
  • Hearing: Cochlear Implant, Tympanic Membrane Repair.
  • Leprosy-affected: Reconstructive surgeries.
  • Bone-Impaired: Orthosis, replacement implants, correction of knee/hip/ankle/shoulder/wrist, Post-Polio surgery.

Eligibility

  • Resident of MP with a disability defined under the 1995 Act.
  • Guardian’s annual income not exceeding ₹96,000/-.
  • Surgery recommended by a subject specialist.

Application Process

Offline: Submit the application to the Joint Director/Deputy Director of Social Justice at the district level. Approval is granted by the District Collector based on hospital recommendations.
