The scheme “Scholarship for Children of Deceased/Disabled/Retired Government Employees” was launched by the School Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, to motivate children of government employees.

Benefits

  • Class 1 to 5: ₹50/- per year
  • Class 6 to 8: ₹120/- per year
  • Class 9 to 12: ₹250/- per year

Note: Scholarship is deposited directly into the student’s bank account.

Eligibility

  • Permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh studying in Class 1 to 12 in a government school.
  • Child of a deceased, disabled, or retired government employee.
  • Must have passed the previous class and not be receiving any other scholarship.

Application Process

Offline: Eligible students can contact the Principal of their respective government schools. Teachers will enter the student’s profile on the Shiksha Portal (https://shikshaportal.mp.gov.in/).

  • Aadhaar card
  • Domicile certificate of Madhya Pradesh
  • Death/disabled/Retired certificate
  • Previous year passing certificate
  • Samagra ID and Bank Passbook
