Launched by the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, this scheme helps youth/women purchase vehicles for lifting and transporting food grains from storage centers to fair price shops.

Benefits

• Interest Subsidy: 3% subsidy for 7 years.
• Fee Refund: Max refund of ₹1,25,000/- for CGTMSE fee.
• Vehicle Support: Supports purchase of vehicles up to ₹25,00,000/- (7.5 Metric Tons capacity).
• Direct Payment: Monthly payment for transportation directly to the bank account.

Eligibility

• Native of rural/urban MP in the concerned district.
• Age: 18 to 45 years.
• Education: 8th Standard pass.
• Must possess a Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license.
• Bank clearance (not a defaulter); Family income ≤ ₹12,00,000/-.
• Not a government servant or pensioner.

Application Process

Online: https://samast.mponline.gov.in/

• Step 1-3: Create a profile on Samagra portal, verify via OTP and Aadhaar e-KYC.
• Step 4-6: Fill the online form, select truck model from authorized list, and submit.
• Fee: ₹100/- for affidavit on stamp paper.
• Selection: If multiple applications exist for one area, selection is via lottery.
