The “Mukhyamantri Dairy Animal Distribution Programme” targets the Baiga, Bharia, and Sahariya tribes in specific districts to improve their nutrition and income through livestock rearing.

Benefits

  • Provision of 2 Dairy Animals (cow or Murrah buffalo) at 90% subsidy (10% beneficiary contribution).
  • Minimum yield: 7 liters/day (cow) or 8 liters/day (buffalo).
  • Calves must be under 2 months.
  • Training and milk route establishment support.

Target Districts

Dindori, Umaria, Shahdol, Anuppur, Mandla, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Gwalior, Datia, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Sheopurkala, Morena, and Bhind.

Eligibility

  • Resident of MP and belong to Baiga, Bharia, or Sahariya tribe.
  • Livestock farmer in designated districts.
  • Participate in pre-distribution training.

Application Process

Offline

  • Step 1: Visit Veterinary Officer or Deputy Director of Veterinary Services and request form.
  • Step 2: Submit filled form with documents.
  • Step 3: Applications approved by Gram Sabha, then Janpad Panchayat.
  • Step 4: Final approval by District Panchayat Agricultural Committee.
