The Mukhya Mantri Swarojgar Yojana was launched on 1 August 2014 under the Department of MSME, MP. It provides loans up to ₹50,000 to ₹10,00,000 to establish employment. The government provides money margin, interest subsidy, and loan guarantees. Repayment period is 6 months to 7 years.

Benefits

• Margin Money: 15% (General, max ₹1L) or 30% (BPL/SC/ST/OBC/Women/Minorities, max ₹2L).
• Additional Provision: 30% (max ₹3L) for nomadic tribes; Bhopal gas victims eligible for additional 20% (max ₹1L).
• Interest Subsidy: 5% (6% for women) for 7 years (max ₹25,000 per year).
• Guarantee Fee: Up to 7 years at prevailing rate.

Eligibility

• Permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• Passed 5th class.
• Age: 18 to 45 years.
• Family not an income taxpayer.
• Not a defaulter of any bank.
