The “Financial Assistance to the Recipients of the Service Medal by the Government of Madhya Pradesh” scheme was launched by the Home Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme aims to provide financial support and recognition to defense personnel who have received service or gallantry medals and are permanent residents of the state.

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• The applicant must belong to a soldier category.
• The applicant must be a service medal awardee.

Application Process (Offline)

Step 1: Visit the District Sainik Welfare Office and obtain the hard copy of the application form.
Step 2: Fill in all mandatory fields and attach copies of required documents.
Step 3: Submit the completed application to the District Sainik Welfare Office.

Post-Application Process:
1. Verification by District Sainik Welfare Office.
2. Forwarded to Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Bhopal.
3. Sent to General Administration Department (GAD-4) for sanction.
4. Payment order issued to District Collector for direct disbursement into the beneficiary’s bank account.
