The “Compensation for Crop Damage Caused by Wildlife” scheme aims to provide financial relief to farmers whose crops are damaged by wild animals. Assessment is conducted as per MP Revenue Book Circular, Volume 6, Clause 4.

Benefits

• Financial compensation based on the extent of damage assessed.
• Payment made via e-payment directly into the bank account.
• Disbursement within 30 working days from loss assessment.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• Must be a farmer whose crops have been damaged by wild animals.
• Does not cover damage by domestic or stray animals.

Application Process

Online: https://mpedistrict.gov.in/MPL/CitizenRegistration.aspx or Offline.

• Registration: Visit the Lok Sewa Guarantee Portal, register with mobile number and OTP.
• Application: Login, select “Apply Online Service”, choose the scheme, fill details, and upload documents.
• Note: Incident must be informed within 3 days of damage.
