Launched on 12th September 2013, this scheme by the Tribal Welfare and Scheduled Caste (SC) Department provides financial assistance and training to Scheduled Tribe candidates preparing for the Civil Services Examination.

Benefits

  • Coaching Fee: Up to ₹2,00,000/- or actual fee (whichever is less) paid directly to empanelled coaching institutes in Delhi.
  • One-time Assistance: ₹15,000/- for purchasing books.
  • Monthly Stipend: ₹12,500/- for up to 18 months.
  • Transport, Housing, and Food: ₹12,500/- per month, paid directly to the candidate’s account.

Eligibility

  • Native of Madhya Pradesh and from a Scheduled Tribe (ST).
  • Annual income from all sources not exceeding ₹6,00,000.
  • Must have passed graduation.
  • Selected based on merit in specific academic groups.
  • Should not have availed benefits of this scheme before.
  • Age as per UPSC eligibility criteria for the respective year.

Priority: Applicants who passed the Civil Services Main Exam of MPPSC in the last three years receive priority.

Application Process

Online: https://www.tribal.mp.gov.in/mptaas

  • Registration: Visit the MPTAAS portal, click “New Beneficiary Profile Registration”, fill details, and upload documents.
  • Login: Enter User ID and password, choose the scheme, fill information, and click “Submit Application”.
