Benefits

• General category: 40% of cost (max ₹80,000/- subsidy).
• Small/Marginal farmers: 50% of cost (max ₹80,000/- subsidy).
• SC/ST category: 75% of cost (max ₹1,00,000/- subsidy).
• Subsidies disbursed based on construction progress and evaluation within 30 days.

Eligibility

• Permanent resident of MP with agricultural land.
• Must have installed drip or sprinkler sets in FY 2017-18 or later (must be operational).
• Pond must be constructed on own land (not leased).
• Beneficiary must not have received this benefit previously.

• Step 1: Register on MP DBT Agriculture Portal with Aadhaar OTP.
• Step 2: Enter personal and land ownership details.
• Step 3: Select “Balram Talab Yojana” from available schemes.
• Step 4: Fill form and upload documents; note Application ID.

Conditions: Mandatory installation of a safety warning board at the site (at farmer’s expense).
