Launched by the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, this scheme motivates students from marginalized sections whose parents work in unclean occupations to pursue education from Class 1 to 10.

Benefits

Scholarship of ₹1,850/- per annum for regular students (Class 1st to 10th).

Eligibility

• Belong to SC or other deprived categories.
• Parent(s) engaged in unclean occupations (Scavenger/Flayers/Tanner).
• Parents who left these occupations after 1997 are also eligible.
• Studying in Class 1st to 10th.
• Limit of two children per family.
• Native of Madhya Pradesh.
• Not eligible for other state scholarships.

E-KYC and Application

• Step 1: Go to MP Shiksha Portal and click ‘eKYC’.
• Step 2: Verify mobile via OTP and enter Samagra ID.
• Step 3: Perform Aadhaar eKYC.
• Step 4: Login to the portal and select the scheme.
• Step 5: Fill details (Bank account, etc.) and upload documents.
• Step 6: Submit application.
