Description

This scheme aims to acquire skills for ST community members (aged 18-50) to start their own businesses or improve livelihood through specialized training.

Benefits

• Financial assistance up to ₹ 5,000/- per course.
• 50% (max ₹ 2,500) released as advance for admission.
• Balance 50% released on completion and production of certificate.

Courses Included: Motor Driving, Tailoring, Cookery/Bakery, Beautician, Mobile Repairing, and Computer Courses.

Eligibility

• Belong to the ST community of Goa.
• Age: 18 to 50 years.
• Course duration must be 15 days to 3 months.

Application Process

Offline

• Step 1: Visit Goa State Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corp, Panaji.
• Step 2: Fill and sign the proforma.
• Step 3: Submit with required documents.

Documents Required

• ST Certificate and Age Proof (Birth Certificate).
• Educational qualifications and Aadhaar Card.
• Bank Passbook copy and Passport size photo.
• Fee structure/Quotation from the institute.
• Declaration signed by a Gazetted Officer.
