The Alpsankhyak Merit-Cum-Means Chatravriti Yojana aims to ensure that talented students from minority backgrounds have access to quality education. It offers scholarships based on both merit and means to empower students and promote inclusivity in higher education.

Benefits

• Hostel students: Maintenance allowance of ₹1,000/- per month (for 10 months).
• Non-hostel students: Maintenance allowance of ₹500/- per month (for 10 months).
• Course Fee: Reimbursement of actual fees or ₹20,000/- (whichever is less).

Eligibility

• Native of the minority category of Madhya Pradesh.
• Annual family income not exceeding ₹2,50,000/-.
• Minimum 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.

Application Process

Online via National Scholarship Portal (NSP): https://scholarships.gov.in/

Registration

• Step 1: Visit NSP website and click “New Registration”.
• Step 2: Enter Aadhaar, mobile number, OTP, and captcha.
• Step 3: Fill in personal details (Category, Name, DOB, etc.).
• Step 4: Submit to get Application ID.

Apply

• Step 1: Click on “Login – Fresh Application”.
• Step 2: Enter Application ID and Password.
• Step 3: Fill the form and upload documents.
